Lois is the author of the award-winning book, "Hypnotic Detox: Recipes for Well-Being". Her commitment to her clients is based on the concern that people may be selling themselves short and settling for therapies that don't work and she wants them, instead, to have the life they know deep down they can have. She helps people achieve their goals by showing them how to take simple steps to get results and improve their lives. Lois has been of service to Princeton N.J. and surrounding areas for over 25 years and has expanded to work with clients around the world.
She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from New York University. Lois received her health counseling training in New York at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and through the State University of New York at Purchase, N.Y. She is nationally certified through numerous professional institutions and organizations.
While at N.Y.U., Lois was on track to teach at the university level when she realized that there exists a whole new world beyond the halls of acadamea. With this new and fresh insight, she set out to create learning possibilities to support people with a varied background and desired outcomes.
It was when Lois first became certified in Havening that she found the secret to lasting change for people who integrated all of her techniques in an dynamic, holistic framework. The use of specific Havening skills has shown consistently positive outcomes for her clients. Havening is a natural, easy, rapid and scientific modality that can be easily learned. Her belief is that clients are best served when they are given specific tools that they, themselves, can rapidly and safely apply as needed. She teaches all clients self-hypnosis and self-Havening for on-going and long-term results.
Professional Member and re-certified each year with: The National Guild of Hypnotist; The American Board of Hypnotherapists; The International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association; The International Association of Counselors and Therapists and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
To maximize therapeutic impact, she is certified in N.L.P. under its founder Dr. Richard Bandler. She is also certified by Dr. Jaime Feldman, of the Institute of Hypnotherapy, to do Advanced Parts Therapy. Lois is certified in Neo Ericksonian Hypnosis, by Doug O'Brien. She also completed her Havening certification training with Doug O'Brien.
